Carnival @ the Park – A Week of Fun!
On Monday, 7 September, we started our 4th Annual Carnival @thePark with a fantastic week of fun, laughter, and activities for everyone to enjoy!
Monday 🎶
We started the week with a special nursery rhyme-themed dance session with Kerry and our Dance Club. Everyone had a wonderful time dancing and joining in. We then held our King and Queen judging, where Simon and Hollie were crowned our King and Queen for the week. 👑
Tuesday 🎉
Tuesday brought a wonderful game of Bingo with Fabulous Faye in our café. Everyone had a fantastic time, and no one went home empty-handed, as every participant won a prize! We finished the session with tea, cookies, and plenty of lovely company.
Wednesday 🥚
Wednesday was packed with fun and friendly competition! We enjoyed egg rolling on the lawn, using eggs that we had boiled and painted ourselves. We then put our creativity and teamwork to the test with a bridge-building competition, using only pasta and marshmallows. Everyone worked incredibly hard, and at the end, we tested the bridges by seeing how much weight they could hold!
Thursday 🥁
On Thursday, we enjoyed a brilliant drumming workshop with Gemma and her team from Rhythm Sticks. Everyone got involved, had fun making music, and enjoyed trying out a variety of drums and percussion instruments. It was certainly a lively session!
Friday 🌈
We finished our Carnival Week in style with an amazing Carnival Procession! Every house made a fantastic effort to dress up according to our “Nursery Rhymes” theme, and there were some wonderful and creative costumes on display.
Our judges, Richard, Kev, and Mark, had the difficult job of selecting the winners, and certificates were awarded to celebrate everyone’s fantastic efforts.
What an incredible week! We had so much fun celebrating together, and we would like to thank everyone who took part and helped make our 4th Annual Carnival @thePark so special. 🎪🎉
