St Piran’s Day

Saint Piran’s Day , is the national day of Cornwall. Held on 5 March every year. The day is named after one of the patron saints of Cornwall, Saint Piran, who is also the patron saint of tin miners.

The annual St Piran’s Day Children’s Parade will be taking place at 10 am, on Wednesday 5th March in Launceston Town Square.
We will be joined by hundreds of children from local Primary Schools for Cornish Dancing and Singing as we celebrate St Piran’s Day.
Please come and join us in the square.
